Cookie policy
MEMORANDUM MULTIMEDIA, or, on its behalf, a third party contracted to provide audience measurement services, may use cookies when a user browses the WEBSITE’s sites and pages. Cookies are files sent to a browser through a web server to record the user’s activities on the WEBSITE. The cookies used by MEMORANDUM MULTIMEDIA or the third party acting on its behalf are associated only with an anonymous user and their computer, and do not provide the user’s personal data by themselves.
When the user allows their reception, they can find out which server uses the cookies by consulting their browser’s usage instructions.
Thanks to cookies, it is possible for MEMORANDUM MULTIMEDIA’s server, or the third party acting on its behalf, to recognize the user’s computer’s browser so that browsing is more straightforward, allowing, for example, access to users who have previously registered, access to areas, services, promotions, or contests reserved exclusively for them without having to register on each visit. They are also used to measure audience and traffic parameters, monitor progress, and the number of entries. The user has the option to configure their browser to be notified on screen of the reception of cookies and to prevent their installation on their hard drive. Please consult your browser’s instructions and manuals for more information. To use the WEBSITE, it is not necessary for the user to allow the installation of cookies sent by MEMORANDUM MULTIMEDIA or the third party acting on its behalf, although it may be necessary for the user to log in to each of the services whose provision requires prior registration or login. Similarly, MEMORANDUM MULTIMEDIA’s web servers automatically detect the IP address and domain name used by the user. All this information is recorded in a server activity file that allows for the subsequent processing of data in order to obtain statistical measurements that reveal the number of page impressions, the number of visits made to web services, etc.
Currently, it is being measured with Google Analytics solutions. These solutions use tags on the pages and anonymous cookies to analyze what happens on our pages, without using the visitor’s personal data in any case. Given the lack of guidelines set by competent national authorities, and relying on comparative law – specifically in the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) of the United Kingdom – it is made clear in order to provide accurate and clear information, the cookie table used by the web portal, assigning them a level of intrusiveness on a scale from one to three (from lower to higher), according to the following scale parameters:
Level 1: internal use cookies essential for the provision of the service itself or inherent to the service provided (according to European community regulations transposed into Spanish national regulations, such cookies would be exempt from obtaining consent). In accordance with the provisions of Royal Decree-Law 13/2012, of March 30, user consent will not be required when the storage or access relating to cookies is of a technical nature solely for the purpose of transmitting a communication over an electronic communications network or, insofar as it is strictly necessary, for the provision of a service of the information society expressly requested by the recipient.
Level 2: cookies managed by third parties as part of services expressly requested by the user on those websites (e.g., Facebook or Twitter).
Level 3: all other cookies that require the user’s prior and express permission and authorization for acceptance.
